Amersfoort, 14th of December 2017 – The 2017 – 2018 edition of the ‘Retailer of the Year’ elections has ended. Lingerie chain Hunkemöller wins the title ‘Retailer of the Year Europe 2017 - 2018’ and Yves Rocher is the winner of the ‘Webshop Awards Europe 2017 – 2018’. 1,578,075 consumers voted in this edition of the ‘Retailer of the Year’ election.
‘Retailer of the Year’ Europe
This year the election was organized in ten European countries. More than 1.5 million consumers wrote close to 2.7 million reviews about their favourite (web)shops. Retailers who won an award in their category in at least four countries had a chance at winning the ‘Retailer of the Year’ Europe prize. Hunkemöller scored a 7.95 and received 28,730 votes, which makes them the overall winner. Webshops had to win a category award in at least three countries to have a shot at winning the overall webshop prize. Yves Rocher scored a 7.91 as their final mark. This earns them the title ‘Webshop Awards Europe’.
